Do Not Eat Peter Pan Peanut Butter Or Peanut Products Right Now

Things like this always scare me... Especially since I just ate a bagel yesterday morning with Peter Pan peanut butter on it. According to this article from, "The FDA is warning people not to eat anything made with peanut butter until it can determine how many products may have been contaminated with salmonella.

More than 450 people across the nation have gotten salmonella poisoning and six people have died as a result of the outbreak.

Keebler snack crackers with peanut butter and cheese have been recalled, and HEB is voluntarily taking some of their similar snack packs off the shelves as a precaution. Their lab will be testing some products to see if anything is contaminated.

The warning first went out earlier in the week when products produced at a Blakely, Ga. peanut processing plant were pulled from the shelves because they may have been contaminated."

Great. Well, if you don't see any more posts after this one, then it means I ate one too many bagels with peanut butter on them...
