FedEx Cargo Plane Crashes In Texas

From the ChicagoTribune.com:

A FedEx cargo plane crashed after veering off the runway in Lubbock, Texas, around 4:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Although the FedEx plane caught on fire, the plane's two crew members walked away after the crash.

James Loomis, the Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport director, said the crew extinguished the fire quickly.

The cargo plane, a ATR-42 twin-turboprop aircraft, landed in a freezing mist, but Loomis said the weather was not a factor in this crash.
