Steve Ballmer Goes Absolutely Bonkers At Microsoft Rally

Microsoft's Steve Ballmer is in the news today because he's been chosen as the keynote interview on March 19 at the 2009 Media Summit New York. Here's a little blip from the press release that went out yesterday:

"We are delighted to welcome Microsoft's Steve Ballmer, one of BusinessWeek's '25 Most Influential People on the Web,' to our Media Summit," said Adler. "Steve Ballmer's unique viewpoint as the CEO of the world's leading software manufacturer will provide the event's attendees with exactly what they need: valuable insight and actionable ideas for today's economy."

"The Media Summit New York is renowned for bringing together the world's top minds in media, entertainment, advertising and technology, as typified by this year's keynote participants," said Victor Harwood, President of Digital Hollywood and Director of the Media Summit. "NBC's Jeff Zucker and Microsoft's Steve Ballmer are two of the most knowledgeable and widely admired leaders in their industries, and we are honored to add their perspective and participation to the Media Summit."

Tickets to the Media Summit New York are now on sale. The cost to register per attendee is $875 prior to March 6, 2009, or $995 at the door. A limited number of event sponsorship and exhibition opportunities are also available. Companies or individuals interested in participating in the 2009 Media Summit New York can learn more about the event, view the agenda, and purchase tickets by visiting http://www.media-summit.com."

Wouldn't it be great if Steve came out for this interview like he did a few years back at this Microsoft meeting/pep rally:
